The rear bump stops on your shocks give your suspension a little cushion before bottoming out. They help to extend the life of your suspension by not putting it through it’s full travel, and also protects the underside of you vehicle from damage cause by the suspension bottoming out.
If you are replacing shocks and struts, make your ride more comfortable and avoid harsh suspension impacts by replacing bump stops.
