EMPI’s GT-2 cam pulls well up to about 5800 RPM, or up to 6000 if you swap to 1.25 rockers, dual springs and HD rocker shafts. A stock carburetor is not recommended. A single 2 barrel carb, or a pair of dual, single or dual barrel carbs are recommended with the GT-2. Low end power will increase with more headwork and carburetion.
