EMPI’s GT-1 cam pulls well up to about 5500 RPM, or up to 5700 if you swap to 1.25 rockers, dual springs and HD rocker shafts. A stock carburetor (with a rough idle), a single 2 barrel carb, or a pair of dual, single or dual barrel carbs can all be used with the GT-1. The more air and fuel you let it control, the more power it will give you, to a certain point anyway!

• 422″ Valve Lift with 1.1:1 Rockers

• 480″ Valve Lift with 1.25:1
